 The Gift is the latest horror film to hit our cinema screens and is out now.
Producer Jason Blum who was behind The Purge and Insidious is back with The Gift, which is set to be as thrilling as his previous films.
But who is in the new movie? And is it worth
going to see?

What is it about?

Simon (Jason Bateman) is a seemingly ordinary man with a terrible secret in his past.
During a shopping trip, he and his wife Robyn (Rebecca Hall) bump into his old school friend Gordo (Joel Edgerton) and invite him to dinner.
But Gordo starts acting strange and leaving suspicious gifts for them at their house.
His harassment of the couple gets worse, and Robyn discovers that Gordo and Simon share a past that goes back 25 years, with Gordo threatening to use it against him.

Who is in it?

Horrible Bosses star Jason Bateman plays Simon, Iron Man 3's Rebecca Hall plays Robyn and The Great Gatsby star Joel Edgerton plays Gordo.
Other stars include The Office's David Denman and Dawson's Creek's Busy Philipps.

Is it worth a watch?

A coolly unsettling thriller, The Gift starts as a little white lie that grows into a mushroom cloud of deceit, some critics claim.The Gift was written and directed by actor Joel Edgerton who plays the disturbing Gordo, and its storyline will keep you guessing with the internal conflict and tension between the characters being the real driving force throughout the movie.
