Jenna Bush Hager and husband welcome second daughter, Poppy

 

Former first daughter turned “Today” show correspondent Jenna Bush Hager and her husband, Henry, on Thursday welcomed their second daughter, Poppy Louise.
The announcement, like everything else about 33 year-old Hager’s pregnancy, saving the actual birth, was made on NBC’s “Today” show.
Host Matt Lauer informed audiences that the baby’s name (though it seems like an on-trend choice) actually has family roots: Her great-grandfather, former president George H.W. Bush, went by the nickname “Poppy” while he was growing up.
It’s the second child for the couple, who wed in 2008; daughter Mila is 2.
